Garnet Diamond Weave Necklace

This was my second attempt at the Diamond Weave stitch, which as you see, was successful.  Rather than proceeding in a linear fashion, I chose to make this a V-shaped necklace.  I must have must been half asleep, because I thought I was ordering  Red Siam beads (to match the bracelet) –  and accidentally ordered Garnet.  Rather than let good beads go to waste (I REALLY hate returning what I’ve ordered), I proceeded with my original idea and created this necklace, adding a strategically placed white seed bead throughout to give it just a little “pop”.   Measuring 17 and 5/8 inches in length, and 3/4  inches wide, the necklace is secured by a 2-strand silver slide bar clasp.
