Tu-Dor or Not Tu-Dor? That is the question. I was perusing photos of regal jewelry when I got the idea for this necklace. Pearls were a common element of the jewelry worn by royalty during the Tudor reign, by both men and women. The women’s open necklines of the era were the perfect place to showcase extraordinary pieces, which truly were works of art. This necklace features Swarovski rose cream crystal pearls bezeled with almond permanent galvanized seed beads. The pearls are then connected to form nine strands of varying lengths that are connected via seed beads and tiny pearls to form a lovely v-shape that tapers to a single pearl drop. Thanks to a rose gold extender chain, the necklace spans 17 and 3/4 inches, and is secured with a rose gold lobster clasp. I think that this necklace will make you feel like royalty as well.
